An interesting day today (we tend to use this word to replace F###) It started well by catching the train into Dundee while waiting I counted how many seconds it took for a 12 coach train to pass me 5 seconds they seem to be going so fast if you stood over the yellow line you would probably be killed.
A good walkabout in town exploring a few streets stopping for or usual coffee. We got back to the train station in time but the train had been cancelled due to bad rain and the next train was 2 hours later. We found that a bus went from the bus station to Monifieth but after spending some time in the bus station and there been no help or ticket offices open we found out the bus stop labeled BUS STATION was outside the bus station on the road. (Interesting). On arrival at the stop we had just missed one.
On returning to the site we tried to get a refund for our return tickets costing £9.90 but would have to send them via post registered and after taking a £7 cancelation fee we would get the balance into our account. (Interesting)
Walk into St Andrews in the morning and had a coffee and walked back. Drove up to Dundee a good drive when you arrive here make sure you pick the 10 foot high bridge to come through. The campsite got our booking wrong just like it did in 2019. Walk around on the seafront and Monifieth.

In the afternoon got the bus down to Broughty Ferry a lovely little town.
Set of early for shopping at Sainsburys a Starbucks next door so had a coffee. Route diversion on the A90 that added a bit to our travelling time but a good drive up. On arrival a good pitch (same as last time). Lunch then got the bikes out to cycle down to the beach, very very busy so decided to head back to the site.
We noticed a band in the bandstand a vey unusual occurrence..
Raining in the morning so coffee in the van, a slow drive up calling for shopping and a pressure washer from Go-Outdoors.
Next day cycle into town lovely weather The royal mile was preparing to close for King Charles. Coffee at Starbucks then a wander about people sitting around for 3 hours for the procession.
