Before leaving York noticed a campervan breaking the rules of parking on pitches some people get away with it, also vans arriving at 1240 not turned away as at other sites.
A good drive down to Harrogate getting shopping at Monk’scross on the way. Catchup with friends at Fodders then an evening cycle into town.

Coffee with friends the a cycle to Knaresborough to look at the market and a cycle around its the sort of place you must look up if you want to see the unusual and lots of fun going on by the river.
Below Hornbeam Park
We’ve been at Rowntree Park when nobody has been let in ’till 1pm. Lots were queued up on approach roads as we arrived – moody looks from them as we passed; then we have a choice of allocated pitches because of our length; talk about being spoilt – just move that cone for us please, Jeeves!
