24-28 DECEMBER 2023 BENICASSIM
Still enjoying lovely sunny days our first cycle over this period was to Oropesa sat on the front with a can of POP as the cafe not open yet.
Our other cycles have been to Castellon for our usual coffee stop (cake) yum yum.
The rest of the time is exploring as you can see from a few of the pictures, people watching and walking on the beach.

Cycling every other day down to Castellon weather brill wall to wall sunshine 24 Deg. some days. Lots of walking on the promenade coffee and cake as usual.

Lovely sunny day so we had a cycle down to Castellon the coffee and cake was amazing good to be back, cycle round the harbor to look at the graffiti.
In the afternoon sat around chatting with friends.

Walked up to our local coffee shop for tostada and tomato then a walk along the seafront people watching (Sunday) lots about today.
There was a local Christmas market on in the town the whole road through the town was closed how FAB lovely stalls.
The campsite here has an indicator outside so you can see how many toilets or cubicles are in use. The electric to the pitches is metered and we get 4 Kw a day free after 3 days we are up to 5Kw not bad.

Moved this morning down to Benicassim great travel again on fab road as yesterday a 3.5.hour trip. Met up with friends had lunch in town Patatas Bravas and coffee had a chat a walk onto the beach then some shopping a lovely day and so glad to be back into 21 C

Up early for Breakfast 0545 then left the ship 0830 for our campsite 6.5 hour drive away. Great driving conditions toll road hardly any traffic great to use cruise control again at 75mph.
Campsite Municipal rubbish, did not empty toilet in chemical disposal as I would have caught something awful .

Into Poole first thing then in the afternoon got ready to leave the site.
Left about 1800 drove down to Portsmouth topping up with fuel Borded ferry about 2230 straight to bed.

Up early for breakfast in The commodore lounge. Then lunch and tea the sea has been a bit choppy today.

Into Poole this morning for a walkabout lovely sunny day lovely to see the holly and as usual here a lovely pillar box knitting.
This campsite has new washing machines and one of the old ones for a doggy wash !!

Early start on a very wet day as a 3 hour trip rain rain rain the roads were very wet with floods stopped for shopping and a Starbucks coffee (the worst yet in England).
But before we left we had a visit from Basil Brush on our pitch in Cheltenham HOW LOVELY.
Washing clothes on arrival into town tomorrow.

Into Shrewsbury for coffee before we left for Cheltenham. Bad weather for our journey down. On arrival into Cheltenham for a walkabout.

Bus into Gloucester for a walkabout in the morning bought ourselves some new shoes coffee and back to the site. Then in the afternoon Cheltenham.

Bus into Gloucester for a walkabout in the morning coffee at Next, walkabout at the Christmas Market FAB how different to Cheltenham then back to the site. Then in the afternoon Cheltenham had a long wait for the bus back as one missed.
6 December 2023 Shrewsbury
Morning a trip into town via Park and ride had a coffee then a really good walkabout going down streets we have never done before and ending up on The Walls walk.
We had a good look around the market one of the best in the country a really good experience.
Into town again in the afternoon for some shopping very busy on the roads with massive traffic hold ups.
