A very cold windy day so no cycle today bus into town for coffee and cake then had a walk out to St Mary’s island to see the seals and lighthouse after repainting.
Washing day as the Berwick campsite has had a dryer issue for about a year now ####
Bus into Whitley Bay for coffee and some shopping then a cycle down to Blyth in the afternoon another cycle exploring Whitley Bay then an evening walkabout.

A cycle again up to The Moon and Back at Tynmouth to the diversion route so I could go a new route.
In the afternoon cycle down to Seaton Sluice a very windy day hard work on the bike.
Bus into town for a look to see the changes since I was last here. Then a cycle to Tynmouth lots of disruption one way on the road from near Tynmouth to Whitley Bay building a cycle way lots done since last year but a lot to do.
Made it to The Moon and Back again very long cycle.
They are trying to get this old Lido back into use (don’t think it will happen)
In the afternoon a cycle down to Seaton Sluice then out to St Mary’s lighthouse newly painted.
Walk into Whitby not much time as I have to leave the site by 1100 so in for a coffee and nearly 1000 so leave some and head for the 1000 bus ARGH cancelled no driver so had to wait for the 1030.
A good drive up managed to kill a few thousand flies UGh? Got here about 1310 so lunch then a cycle into Whitley Bay a lovely route in the evening a short walk.
Bus into Scarborough this morning to look at the New Starbucks in town, Lovely store but not enough staff so service very slow.
Spotted a lovely mermaid in the store.
Campsite very big 200 pitches although not busy at the moment great room with television pool table and video swap.
Turning up early have to park on a very busy road ?
In the afternoon bus to Filey but very busy as it passes 4 very large campsites one is so big it has 4 bus stops outside it. In the evening a walk around Cayton village passed The Farrier Pub
