Up to Benissa to Moraira to try to avoid the cycles but to no avail they are so bad here prompting lots of road rage (not from me I is cool).

Friends have arrived so we have hired a car and drove down to Altea for lunch then a tour along to Benidorm then back to Calpe a good drive around.
16 February 2024 Calpe
A late start this morning but we managed eventually to drive up to Moraira at 20 kl per hour following about 5000 cyclist spread all over the road and been a complete set of idiots.
Continued on to Javea stopping for coffee and Tostada. Then drove up to Denia for a good look about coming back along new roads and came across Montgo Art FAB.

12 – 13 February 2024 Calpe
Walk along the cliff path then 2 cycles around Calpe.
Easy day today mad hot 17C at 0800 In the evening a walk into town they are getting Valentine days light on a lovely day again.
9-11 February 2024 Calpe
Lots of walkabout Saturday was a colour day as you can see from the pictures.

Continuing to walk around new streets every day managed a big cycle with hills up into the country side also cycling new routes and round the Ifach.

Walk into the old town this morning we passed what could have been some live wires not wishing to check we took heed of the writing underneath that the possibility was that it was live.
The old building in town are still fab to look at at of course the moving footpath.
5 February 2024 Calpe
Bus up to the Tram this morning then to Benidorm the tram and Benidorm where very busy.
Tried to find Costa coffee but it has gone. Walked back to the tram station then back to Calpe.
2 – 3 February 2024 Calpe
8 climbers on the Ifach at 1000 this morning some well up towards the top.
Walked round the Ifach in the morning and into town in the afternoon walkabouts.
Stopped at this coffee shop for 2 pints of blood but it was shut (bloody hell)
3 February 2024 Calpe
When booking in we where given the choice of 2 pitches one near a small toilet and another (we chose the other). This morning we heard the small toilet block caught fire at 0800nthis morning causing a bit of panic around the area.
Below a crane ready to put up a 33 story block of flats.
Cycle this morning along the north beach and some shopping also some washing as a lovely day.
1 February 2024 Calpe
Below is a picture that indicates that the weather will be good today.
Spent a bit of time with friends before leaving for Calpe a good drive up past Benidorm.
On arrival lunch then a walkabout how lovely to be back same staff and Manager and some Dutch people on the site remember us and have one of my pictures framed on the wall of their house at home.
Another walkabout in the evening before tea as a lovely sunny day, the new building going up behind the site below.

In to Alicanti again today for a walk about and another lovely Starbucks coffee.

Out for a cycle this morning and a look around in town the church we wanted to visit was closed so coffee time.
In the afternoon graffiti time again and artwork. The below picture of Maureen with the flamingos was only part of the picture.
