Scary Monster on the way in to town
Walk into Barney before leaving for Hawes driving through lovely Yorkshire countryside getting stuck behind tractors UGH. Got held up at reception ????
Walk into Hawes after lunch and some washing. Sorted out a lovely tea room for my stay ideal for knits.
On my way into town spotted this but denied entry not old enough they said.
This is why the webcam is not on at the Bike cafe in Hawes on Skyline webcams.

I think this bridge was just built for the water pipe originally.
Up early as usual to have a good look around before it gets busy. Love the below.
The castle is big.
Lots of different routes in to town so came back via the woods.
A second walk into town again in the afternoon.

Usual meet up coffee and cycle into Harrogate.

Moving day A66 Ugh stay away from it. coffee before leaving.
Walk into town after lunch to see if any changes takes about 15 mins walk.
I wondered why you don’t see many of these toilets about it’s because there isn’t a lot of Gentlemen about.
Very unusual to see an Owl at this time of the day.

Cycle up to Ripley Castle for coffee on the greenway I learned something today……If you are sick of picking up after your dog? GET A HORSE.
On the way back noticed these little trains.
Another cycle up into Harrogate then coffee with friends in Fodders.

Walk into York this morning before leaving for Harrogate.
Good drive down stopping at monks cross for some shopping. Coffee with friends in the afternoon great to catch up.

Coffee with friends then a cycle into Harrogate in the afternoon meet up with friends again always lots to talk about.

Walkabout in Thirsk before driving down to York.
52 mins drive so stopped of for some shopping then some washing shower and a walk into York to see what’s going on then some RAIN.

Bus into Whitley Bay for a walkabout coffee then back to the site then a drive down the A19 through the Tyne tunnel £2.50 Toll to Thirsk.
Walk into town to look at the Yarn Bombing love it her LOTS so some today and some tomorrow.

Bus into town for a walkabout then a cycle up to Tyemouth
In the afternoon a cycle down to Seaton sluice a picture of the smoking shelter at the back of a pub.

Very misty this morning could hear the fog horn and the lighthouse on the campsite was operating.
Early bus into town this is one of the only places in the UK that allows passes before 0930.
Passed a lovely flower display.
A cycle down to Blyth again the below picture is the electric cables for the wind farms at Blyth docks.
Called in to Ridley Park to check on the wild life.
