A lovely start to the day again so we cycled up The Crab and Winkle cycle way to Whitstable on to the harbour and into town for a coffee lots of off road through woods and open fields a lovely route but lots of mud and hills a 3 ½ hour round trip. Oh! And Maureen got yet another puncture front wheel this time will mend it tomorrow as it’s started to rain. I think I will get her some wooden tyres.
Lovely morning lovely sunshine so a walk down to the Marina before we leave for Caterbury. A good drive up mostly motorway UGH. A 2 Hour drive. While driving we saw a lovely number plate The Best Ever….K155 YOU……. loved it

Weather has been mixed over the last two days but still getting out for walks between Showers. There was a football match on at the back of the site but not too many spectators.
The sea was rough today and made for a good picture. And our friends have left us for home SOB SOB.

21 December 2021 Brighton
Drove up to Brighton this morning only 1 1/2 hours shopping then up to the site for 1300 Met up with our friends from Harrogate and after lunch walked down and around the marina what a lovely evening and a great start to our time with friends in Brighton over Christmas.
Cycle again round Bosham Quay to Chichester a new route we love some of the houses on Smugglers Lane especially SkyFall no James Bond but got a smile from the lady entering the drive. Back for lunch then a short cycle around the back roads to see how far we are from the Camping and Caravan club site that we have stayed at before. 2 Strange things that have happened whilst we have been here 1. Whilst driving on the M6 near Southport a small car passed us with the number plate AP7 today on our cycle a small car passed us with the number plate AP6. 2. While out cycling we saw Santa on a trike motorcycle and he new us because he waved back! Then today we saw him again on a push bike and he waved again! Hope he remembers us and brings us a lovely present at Christmas xx
This campsite has 2 electric car chargers and a Japanese takeaway on site and a lovely seating area behind the bar.
The toilet block here is so different to most campsites individual showers and wash basins in a separate area to toilets, (can you spot me in the mirror) they are unisex. There is an ice making room ?
We did use the laundry. Up early for a cycle into Chichester a busy road at one point. Walk about then made our way back a different route and luckily we saw lots of deer and the cockpit of an airplane in a field.
The picture below reminds us that we should be in Spain because the seat is (Muchas Gracias)
