15 June 2025 Bridlington

3 cycles today into Brid. to see some more car racing then up to Flamborough to see the flower pot thingy.

In the afternoon a short cycle into Brid. again. A great day.

 

WOW the seagulls here are BIG.

13 – 14 June 2025 Bridlington

Walk into York for a coffee before leaving for Bridlington on arrival bummped into a few people I know. Cycle into Town.

Next day 2 cycles down to see the Steampunk and Race The Waves wow busy but what FUN put it on your things to do in life

11 June 2025 Harrogate

Cycle up to coffee at Starbucks Weatherby road what a mess never ever seen such problems unbelievable . In the afternoon a cycle up to Ripley Castle out for 3 hours a lovely coffee.

12 June 2025 York

Coffee in Fodders before leaving for York a good drive no problems in to town for a walk and buy some Wiggs for a Tribute Band act I am doing in October. A lovely sunny day so HOT.

2 off the boats have changed since I was here last week some people told me £250000 each and one of the previous owners of a lovely old boat just did a swap.

 

 

9-10 June 2025 Harrogate

A long 3 hr drive down with the usual roadworks stopped for a coffee at The Country Harvester Yum Yum.

The first time I had to use my ramps for years.

Although this site gets good reviews it is really a 10 Euro campsite I would have thought that while the chemical disposal was blocked and a temp put in they would have upgraded NO CHANCE.

And still using a combi boiler ?

Stopped buying cake at Fodders too small and cookies nearly £5 each.

Met friend for coffee then a cycle in to Harrogate in the afternoon lovely sunny day.

7-8 June 2025 Keswick

Lots of coffee and meeting up with friends had a good time driving around and over to Moota Garden center.

Fight night entertainment on the campsite.

5-6 June 2025 Keswick

An evening drive out to Winlatter above Bassenthwaite Lake

Still catching up with friends its a while since I  met Kong

Spotted a leaf butterfly!

Had a drive over to Maryport then down to Workington for a shop and meet a friend for coffee.

In the evening a duck brought its kids to look at the motorhome.

4 June 2025 Keswick

Walk into Keswick for a coffee n cake then Drove down to Ambleside gosh the roadworks again UGH.

Had a look round Hays Garden center as it is now under new management. Then had a look round Ambleside town.

Drove up to Grassmere for a look around, back to Keswick for lunch then had a drive round Derwentwater  wish I hadn’t gosh drivers UGH!

Had a walk into Keswick in between showers still meeting lots of friends this trip, some lovely yarn bombing very attractive for a dog to pee on.

2-3 June 2025 Keswick

Back in Keswick to catch up with lots of friends mixed weather but getting plenty of walking in.

Gosh my poor friends are not well I am glad am am living this lifestyle as I am still fit and healthy it makes me so sad.

I was going to do a shop before I got here but missed out, a toasty loaf 75p costs £1.10 here so went along to the coop as it was to expensive £1.20 WHAT. have got the car so will top up a shop out of town !

Costa coffee what a let down it won’t be long before this chain disappears from this planet.

1 June 2025 Keswick

Before leaving Harrogate saw 2 lovely Bubble cars 1 Green  and 1 Orange FAB

A good drive up to Keswick 3 Hours through the Lakes no problems but rain. Had a walk down they Lake then some washing then a walk into Keswick town and bumped into a special friend XX

29-31 May 2025 Harrogate

Stopped of to visit friends on the campsite the elsen point was out of order as someone had dropped part of their toilet in and blocked it the temporary one you could see down about 8 feet into the sewer from the toilet block FAB this reminded me of some crap campsites I have been on.

The night watchman sleeps on the floor near the vans?

The plastic bottle on the left is for flushing the toilet.

On this campsite they are cutting the grass.

Just outside the site is where some of the locals live
