In the afternoon a cycle into Scarborough this lift may not have a life soon.

The cliff lift, built in 1875 at a cost of about £8,000, is one of Scarborough’s best-known heritage attractions. The survey now will probably cost more than that.

Back through the town and Over the valley bridge that lots of people have died jumping of many years ago.

A lovely busy day and managed to meet a warden I know from down south up here for a few days holiday. Have now passed over 300 cycles this year so worked out I do about 1500 miles a year cycling not bad for a young man like me opps! mental age 12.
