28 September 2025 Bridlington
Rain again so nothing until late afternoon when I heard my name been called by a peice of cake in Brid. so out with they bike and in I went found lucky table 13 Mmmmmm! lovely.
After tea sun so not to waste the day cycled up to Flamborough head lovely enjoyed getting out.
27 September 2025 Bridlington
Cycle into Brid. with friends out for 3 hours and Cake yummy.
In the afternoon another coffee at a cafe called Tiffin.

Cycle down into Whitby before leaving for Bridlington the pier here is nearly as wide as a duel carriage way road.
Spotted in an ally in the old town.
A slow drive down tractors? Arrived to a text from friends on site O goody. A cycle into Bridlington for a coffee n catch up.
25 September 2025 Whitby
Walk into Whitby and again like last time I was here the 1000 bus driver did not turn up and the Que was all the way to the end of the pier Ha Ha so walked back.
Only in Whitby a black post box.
Love the clock
Saw another friend.
These wire structures are all over there is a trail.
The council are considering knocking this down Boo Hoo
Cycle up the harbor.
Had a good walk about looking for new picis then came back in on the back for some more exploring then another cycle along the promenade to the pavilion.
24 September 2025 Whitby
The campsite at Cayton Village has a bar now.
I must put Scarborough campsite on my 1 night only list catching a bus here is almost impossible they pass about 4 static holiday campsites before getting to this site and many times have standing room only they are almost full all day.
Into Scarborough for coffee and walkabout then a short drive up to Whitby calling in for some shopping. Cycle down into Whitby and up to the Abbey then back to the site calling in at Sandsend a good day.

Cycle this morning into Scarborough wanted some printing doing at Ryman then had a cycle about and coffee.

Tried to get a bus into Scarborough but it did not turn up and the next one was full so back to the site for the bike and cycled into Scarborough for a Starbucks.

The cafe below was once a lift down to the beach and you can have a coffee in the old trollies.
In the afternoon had a cycle to Filey via Killerby, Leberston and Gristhorp. Spotted this at the side of the road nice.
After tea another short cycle up to Cayton cliffs.

High wind and rain all night lots of conkers two walkabouts and some shopping in Thirsk before a drive over to Scarborough washing and fitted new brake shoes tested with a short cycle down to the Mc Cain chip factory.
After tea a cycle to Osgodby spotted an unusual and sad sign
20 September 2025 Thirsk
Another wet wet wet day and I had to take the bike in for a new cable so walked in in had a coffee and had a look round the Art exhibition ( nothing special). Bike fixed in 40 mins.
Must be blue plaque day Thirsk has lots of these.
The trouble with these grass only campsites is its not the place to be on bad rain days you get a mucky van UGH!
18 September 2025 Thirsk
Due to Costa in Stockton now closed I cycled on to the industrial estate behind the campsite then along the river side into Stockton for a look around. Then a short drive (30 mins.) to Thirsk campsite a short cycle into town to book my bike into have a gear cable changed need to bring in tomorrow morning.
Had another walk about after tea will have a look at the courthouse tomorrow as an art exhibition on.
