After  visiting Edinburgh campsite for many years and seen the changes on both the site and the area the reviews and the crime in this area I get the feeling that Edinburgh site like Bristol will close in the next few years for housing development.

Bus into Edinburgh this morning still exploring.

Noticed that they had fitted the curtains on the outside of the windows UGH!

Drive down to Dunbar 1hour no problems today. Love this Statue Lady with the swan.

While taking the picture of the above noticed a BIRD LOO Ugh! again.

I have noticed this lovely metal bear many times when driving up the A1 so decided to cycle to it pretty easy a cycle way goes from the back of FAIR ACARES housing estate over to ASDA and passes right past it.

Cycled into Dunbar to see if there was any changes since I was last here.

31 August 2025 Dundee

Cycle down to Broughty first thing for a coffee then down to Edinbrugh lots of road works and speed restrictions M90.

Washing day so a relaxing afternoon.

1 September 2025 Edinburgh

Bus into Edinburgh for some shopping ready for my next stop then back to the site for lunch then a cycle down to The Ocean Terminal .

I can understand why this is a Brown Bear

Cycle this morning on a great cycle way to Dundee and back 7 mile each way.

Afternoon cycle did not make it all the way 2 years ago as a Golf competition on in July. A good cycle only 5 miles each way on a lovely warm day.

Last nights concert only can be described as

and I got to see the castle lights.

Expensive for castle entry but only £10 for campers.

The cleaners were spotted cleaning the shower tray mats on the chemical disposal unit good eh!

A Coffee at Blair Atholl Castle coffee shop before leaving for Dundee a good drive down stopping for shopping arrived at the campsite at 1300. Lunch then out with the bike before the promised rain arrives. Lovely art work on the café next to Broughty Castle.

Before leaving a cycle into Perth again this morning. Then a good journey up to Blair Atholl campsite calling in at House of Bruer. (10 mins away) Very unusual toilets here only hand basins in the site down cubical and showers only one hook for the towel the rest of the clothes go on shelves. Lovely views from the site 290 pitches on site.

Had a walk down the tree lined avenue to Blair Castle and decided to look round the castle as it’s about 15 years since I was last here it’s just the same.

Back to the site just in time for some very heavy rain. UGH!

Its a while since I have seen one of these ?

Cycle into Perth first thing to top shopping up before moving tomorrow.

In the afternoon had a cycle up into the village of Scone interesting no not the pictures the women who stopped me and asked “WHY are you taking pictures in the graveyard” !!!! Then back to the site for RAIN to appear a lucky day.

An evening cycle last night WOW rubbish.

Next morning cycle to Starbucks then along to Nr Leith docks then back along to Cramond.

Moving today so an hour drive up to Perth, On arrival had a cycle into Perth then did my washing. If you know anyone who wants to hire a person who can handle stress (see below)

Mistake 1 Overcharged me somehow ?

Mistake 2 Wanted to let someone on site before me that arrived after me ?

Mistake 3 “Pitch 51 please sir enjoy your stay” Opps sorry you should be on pitch 52 you will have to Move the paper in his hand said 52 ????

Mistake 4 A women in the washing area put her payment in the wrong place dryer instead of washer told wardens they said sorry can not give you it back we have no keys.

There is a sign on the machine that says ALL CASH REMOVED FROM THESE MACHINES DAILY

Another lovely day Camping and Caravanning.

On arrival at this FAST check in site I made my way to the FAST check in lane but was stopped by a warden while they checked my particulars UGH this new system still not working after a few years in use.

Due to the warm weather the insects are BIG on the pitch.

This drinking fountain does not appear very happy must be the water shortage. He He

The phone boxes almost disappear at this time of the year.

NO COMMENT?

A ride up to Edinburgh takes about 30 mins. the longest part all the traffic lights on Princess street had a ride up the royal mile taking photos of all the Fringe events then back down on to George street for a Starbucks.

Called in at M&S to get some new shirts was going to wash them before wearing but no hand washing sinks on the site? Will wait till my next site Caravan and Camping site they still care about the customer (at the moment.

This TENT on wheels looks like it may have a lift shaft.

22/23 August 2025 Berwick/Edinburgh

Usual cycling in town coffee n cake and an evening cycle on the Spittle prom. The motorhome stop at the back of the amusements was very busy tonight.

I like to do the swan thing here sooooo how many swans have no heads ?

A walk into town before leaving for my next stop and noticed even the graffiti does it in the street UGH!

You have to be so careful not to arrive early on these city sites I noticed an old man that had arrived 1 minuet early.
