Lovely drive up this morning 2 ½ Hour E18 great drive. Campsite beside a lake! Everything here in Sweden is beside a lake! 350SK for a night.

6 -7 July Camping Bogstad Oslo

What a great couple of days in museums and walking about a FAB place on Thursday it became a bit English when 3 cruise ships arrived.

Moving day on our way to Sweden this morning Keep watching.

5 July Camping Bogstad Oslo

Lovely drive up this morning stunning scenery alongside Fjord. Very large campsite booked 3 days.

Walked up to the Holmenkollen ski tower FAB lift to the top and a wander around the ski museum.

Got our Oslo Card for unlimited museum and travel for 48 hours.

4 July Camping Homannsberget Norway

Arrived this morning the site is on a strawberry farm so typing this short paragraph then of to find Maureen xxx

Had a chat with the site owner who grows strawberry’s, cherries and plums. Lovely family run farm site well looked after off the tourist track. Had a walk about into town.

3 July camping Rognstranda Norway

Ferry across this morning left at 0900 arrived 1330 drove down to campsite by the fiord lovely site great views. These campsite facilities in both Denmark and Norway are stunning. had a walk by the fiord.

30 -June1 July 2016 Hirtshals Denmark

Lovely campsite next to the sea had a walkabout on the beach and into the town booked our ferry to Norway leaving Sunday 0800.

2 July 2016 Hirtshals Denmark

Still topping up our shopping but so near to town and a lovely walk along the beach and harbor to town 3 times a day is no problem. Up the lighthouse this lunchtime wow so windy nearly got blown off.

All washing done ready for an early start in the morning. We are getting some odd vehicles in here due to a ferry going to Iceland from here. When you look at your lives and think you are doing well you bump into 2 young people on this site that are cycling up into the Norwegian fiord’s but wait for it…………………….they have cycled all the way from Lille in France 2 1/2 months.  WELL DONE TO THEM.

28-6-2016 Hobro City Camping

1 Hour drive up today in Good weather another lovely site. Situated at the head of Mariager Fiord. Lots of Viking thingy going on in the area. Town good had a long walkabout day.

Visited the Vikingcenter, Vikingeborgen Fyrkat and the Maritime Centre. Below are two really scary Vikings.

Run this morning then a couple of walkabouts on the move in the morning. What a lovely church we found.

27-6-2016 City Camping Vejle

Up for a run this morning another first a run through the Dyrehaven Deer park fabulous run. Walkabout into Vejle again and up to its windmill and a bit of shopping on the move again in the morning. Cannot praise the site enough lovely 10 star a must for travelers in Denmark.

25-6-2016 Camping Krusa Denmark

Arrived in Krusa campsite very quiet Krusa isn’t even a one horse town no food shops a few fast food places and a couple of sex shops (no pictures sorry)1 petrol station. The petrol station we stopped at on the motorway on the way here vehicles were queuing for fuel. A rough drive up torrential rain all the way made a 1 hr 54 drive into 3 hour drive crossed border OK but they are checking everyone.

26-6-2016 City Camping Vejle

Arrived at 0945 1 hour drive up lovely site great receptionist.

Walked into town 1/2 hour via Deer park and harbor area lovely town very quiet it is Sunday though, plenty for the eye, coffee and a good walk about. GOOD.

22 – 24 June 2016 Camping Grobensee Hamburg

Traveled up from Osnabruck today on the A1 we did notice a large portable X ray scanner in one of the services scanning wagons that had been pulled of the motorway “a first”

23 June 2016 Camping Grobensee Hamburg

Had a good trip into Hamburg today Bus 364 18 mins Train 15 mins on a 3 rings Card 18€ for 5 people all day on trains buses and ferries. Lovely city clean and spacious had no trouble finding our way about. Good sight-seeing day.

Will be back tomorrow for some more.

Another good day in Hamburg after a massive thunder and lightening storm for most of the night. We filmed it at 3.00am.

Good walkabout – 2 hours – round most of the town picking up sights missed yesterday and managed to include the Reeperbahn (sex area).

One thing we do regret is missing the sailing of the Queen Mary 2. She left on the 21st for Southampton after a re-fit here in Hamburg. All in all a good 2 days here, would recommend for a short city break.
