3 – 8 January 2017 Vilanova Barcelona
Visited usual haunts / Barcelona /Sitges /Vilanova trying different places with our friends. Cycled up to L’ Arboc with Ray. Cycled into Vilanova for spare inner tubes with Ray. Out to Sitges then back to see the 3 Kings Parade in Vilanova.
Walked into Vilanova today with Steve and Linda for lunch. Getting van packed ready to move soon south to warmer weather.

Had a cycle into Sitges with Ray and Linda unfortunately Linda had a valve break in the front wheel, Shops Shut so we tried a repair (no good trying to fix a valve back on to a tube so Ray went back for the van and came back to pick her up. Maureen and I carried on and had a coffee in Sitges then returned to the site (A good day with friends)

Down into Vilanova this morning had a walkabout seen some new sights. It was good watching a puppet show about a Spanish Christmas at the end the (Crapper shit Sweets all over the children so funny)
28-29 December 2016 Vilanova Barcelona
Slow start then decided to cycle to l’ Arboc a round trip about 30 miles. stunning weather / scenery and a lovely coffee shop at the end of the town a brilliant day.

Decided this morning to have a run to Sitges again along the railway line and pick up some shopping on the way back. Our good friends from Harrogate arrived today how FAB we have missed them. (can you tell they read this blog). XX

Another lazy start to the day. Then off into Barcelona with friends to see the Christmas lights, decorations and enjoy one of Europe’s most vibrant city’s nightlife.
Wandered steadily through some of the off beat back streets with friend Steve grabbing a few (thousands actually) of pictures. Called into a second hand shop to do a bit of rummaging.
Up the Rambla and on to a lovely restaurant (Bilbao berria) near the Cathedral for Tapas and Pinchos.
Then wandered round an Antique market and on to Catalunya Sqaure to look at the games and the large robotic ballerina. A brilliant night out.

Walk about in the hills at the back of the campsite with friends then relax ready for a good walkabout in Barcelona tomorrow to see the lights at night.

A quiet day as most things are closed today so sat in the sun (sorry folks it’s lovely) How’s storm Barbara? After lunch a short 1 Hour cycle.

Cycle into vilanova and a coffee in town its so good to cycle around the back streets away from tourists. Bus Train into Sitges late with friends to see the lights and Tapas.
A good evening stroll about interesting shops but time we had finished walking around the bars all started closing !!! so no food again (we do like to mess up occasionally on our trips). And its usually when we are with friends Oops! done it again. xxx but better than sat watching TV any day.
23 December Vilanova Park Barcelona
Over the last few days we have been running and cycling (cubelles) also a walk with friends to Sitges along the old railway line with lunch in Sitges. We also checked out a couple of Tapas bars for a meal out with our friends on Christmas Eve.

A lovely day so a run in the hills then down to Vilanova I la Geltru to meet friends for lunch. Looked at the Antique market then a walk on the Beach.
