Up into town bus pass no good here so £3.20 each way. Had a walk about and lunch in the evening people watching on the promenade near Cramond Island. On the flight path to airport great for Plane spotting.
Good 4 days here, 2 runs for Maureen along Spittal Promenade, couple of good cycles up and around the town. Lots of walking on the beach collecting beach glass and pottery. Found a good cycle shop (Wilson Cycles, Bridge Street) in town so Darian had a slow puncture repaired.
Drove up after lunch at Beadnell did some washing and a bit of relaxing, walked to Budle bay in the evening, this site is overrun with flies and tiny spiders (lots) we will probebly be knocking them off the van for a couple of weeks.

This site is not the place to be if you want peace and quiet great for families there is a splash pool, the kids play football until 1030 the van got hit by a frizbee? (not good). Got a pie and chips take away from the bar it was OK.
Lovely day, Maureen ran to Beadnell Harbour, then we both cycled up to Seahouses for a coffee and a lovely bacon buttie, yum yum. Some more glass and pottery collecting on the beach and lots of walking.

Foggy and raining for our drive over from York but a short trip. Arrived lunchtime. Walked across the golf course to the Promenade then on to the beach to Whitby harbour a coffee in town then back along the prom. Got a lot wet but a shower warmed us both up. 9 years since we have been here our first campsite in a motorhome! Not a good day for pictures!
Rain, rain and more rain. Drove to Park and Ride and caught bus into city. Visited the Chocolate Experience, pretty poor after the one in Tournon sur Rhone (Valrhona). No free samples!!! Good walk around in the Shambles. On return to the Park and Ride had a wander around the Monks Cross shopping.
