Arrived back in Keswick to catch up with friends and wow what a busy couple of weeks. Visited Keswick Alhambra cinema to see River Wind, also Plaza in Workington to see the American Assassin. Both very good films. Maureen doing some hill running and lots ,of cycling for both of us. Weather pretty good with quite a few sunny days. Visited the Food Festival in Cockermouth. Travelled to Ambleside, Windermere Lakeland (plastics) and Grasmere.

Met our friends from Kilmarnock for coffee, our friends from Harrogate joined us for 3 days in their motorhome. Meals out and lots of fun having a really good time in Keswick. Campsite fabulous with very friendly wardens. Catching up with more friends this week then we should be ready to continue our travels.
Good drive down arrived lunchtime so into Durham for a look around and up to the Cathedral. Next day up to the castle but closed for a private function Ops! so a look around the town again.
Good journey down from Edinburgh stopping for some shopping and to Berwick on Tweed for a coffee break. Had lunch then walked on the beach glass and pottery collecting.
Tuesday Maureen had a run down to Beadnell kilns then we both cycled up to Bamburgh. In the afternoon more beach walking.

Wednesday walked along the beach to Seahouses for bacon butties and coffee. Not as good as the last time. More walking on the beach.
Good drive down drove over the NEW Queensferry bridge and back across brilliant. maureen run me cycle then up into Edinburgh. A good day and with sunshine all day.
Traveled over to here again because we made arrangements to call in at Knowepark Caravans Livingston to let them fix a problem with our habitation door (they said no problem just call in). So after altering our route and missing out of visiting some new places we rang them to confirm we were coming on Friday and they said no way the first they could do it would be the 19 September (Thank you so much for altering our life). Good morning in Sterling raining but a walkabout and coffee. Afternoon rain Ugh!

Rain all morning but managed to get out for an hour on the forest trail to Toronsay Castle (A house) but I would call it a castle if I lived in it. Sun trying to get out.

Lovely sunny day with small showers so bus up to Tobermory £11 return each an interesting drive. Lovely small place interesting. Wow a 56 seated coach on single track road with a few idiots one women driver shook her fist at the driver when she had to reverse 25yards.(sad)

Run this morning in Toronsay Castle grounds got a bit wet. Afternoon tried to get a bus to Duart Castle but given the wrong times by the information office so missed out.
31 August Glen Nevis Fort William
back to Oban and a good drive up to Fort William a bit of shopping then a walk about and a Costa Coffee. First of our washing then a riverside walk in the evening followed by a drink in the pub.

A run this morning to the gate on Cow hill followed by a 1 ½ Hr cycle to Caol and the locks. Some more washing all done now until we leave.

Cycled down to the race start then into town for coffee. Then walked part way up Ben Nevis to watch the race.

Maureen run up the forest track for 35 mins while I washed the van. Drove up to Aanoch Mor but the lift was closed due to wind. Coffee and Cake.
Wet day so drove into Fort William coffee and ???? rest day wow.

Cycling to Aanoch Mor
Maureen a run, Darian cycle along the forest trail almost mountain biking. Went down to see the helicopter moving stones up onto The Ben for footpath repairs. Cycle into Fort William and up towards the Aanoch Mor via Torlundy. This time on the site we have noticed a lot more of the 1% problem people and a few changes that affect the smooth running of the site.

Drive down to Sterling again stopped at the Green Welly for coffee sun coming out.
Great drive over from Sterling the waterfalls are stunning.Arrived lunchtime the Owner was telling us about thunder and lightning last night with lots of rain. Had a walkabout up the hills to look for gold Maureen says no chance and she was right. Boo Hoo.
