A long drive up today 31/2 hours including stopping of to see an old friend and a coffee stop at the Green Welly in Tyndrum not a good coffee will give it a miss in future. Arrived at about 1230 so a cycle into town I have run out of choc bites. Fond memories of my 5 mile swim up Loch Linnhe.

1

A look in town and a picture of the car that was pulled up Ben Nevis years ago not the real one.

2

Back for lunch then a cycle out to the locks at Corpach to get a good shot of Ben Nevis.

Just like Edinburgh campsite the campers here are a bit ugh what a state the human race is in at the moment maybe they should rent caves out ? Last year there was some terrible behavior on site.

This campsite is one of my favorites and has revamped its facilities are they are FAB.

Washing day as its raining and a FAST walk up to The coffee Bothy for afternoon coffee n cake.

2 July 2025 Edinburgh

Have time to right a big blog today as Rain Rain Rain. Caught the bus into Edinburgh this morning cheaper than England £2.20 per trip. Still very busy in town and difficult getting around with an Umbrella. Had a coffee and look around found a new place then back to the site Please stop raining. XX

This site in Edinburgh is a place to come if you have a need to see all the weird things campers do in a short time. Auto Book in strange un readable message came up on entry booked onto pitch with text then a warden appeared 10 mins. Later and told me someone was already on this pitch ugh NO I am on it. ?

Yes the below is a friend XX

It is full of new campers in hired vans I am surrounded by Indi campers, Roadsurfer,  Bunk campers, McRent and Just Go campervans and lots of foreigner’s visiting the lovely city of Edinburgh. This campsite is one of the only Caravan club to not display toilet cleaning times and only has 8 showers for 142 pitches Ugh! Last time I was here someone had a Poo outside the toilet door (must have forgot the entry code) ? The site is also covered into cameras as crime on the site is ripe bike lockers provided to help stop bike theft and last year saw the wardens chase and catch a suspected thief on site. Great stop have booked the site again this year but after writing this may have second thoughts ####

Still love the life I live
